ISBE – set out for a Systems Biology Infrastructure for Europe

Abstract


Systems Biology is considered as the biology of the 21st century. This new field in the life sciences combines the different aspects of biological information and generates computational and mathematical models to understand fundamental principles and processes in biology. The Infrastructure for Systems Biology in Europe (ISBE) programme aims at the establishment of an infrastructure designed to meet the needs of European systems biology in terms of development, application and training.
