EMBnet.journal is an international, Open Access, peer-reviewed journal whose primary goal is to provide biomedical scientists with practical information to help i) tackle routine data-analysis tasks (whether basic or advanced), ii) implement complex, multi-faceted IT architectural infrastructures, and iii) address the many new challenges of modern, data-driven Life Science research.

The journal contains two main sections, which cater for peer-reviewed primary research articles, reviews and technical notes, and for non-peer-reviewed commentary, reportage, user-guides, training information and news. You can find more information in our About section.

EMBnet.journal is a successor of EMBnet.news magazine, which has been published by EMBnet since 1994.
