Genome sequence of plant associated rhizobacterium Bacillus amyloliquefaciens strain UCMB5033
Abstract
Bacillus amyloliquefaciens strain UCMB5033 is a spore forming Gram-positive plant growth promoting rhizobacterium (PGPR). Its genome contains gene clusters that are involved in non-ribosomal synthesis of secondary metabolites known for antimicrobial activities. The availability and analysis of the genome will provide insight into plant-bacterium associated activities.
