EMBnet.journal (test.design)

EMBnet.journal (EMBnet J, ISSN:2226-6089) is an international, open access, peer-reviewed journal, bringing the latest developments in bioinformatics research, education and training, together with practical user-guides, news, views, reportage and commentary, to the community. Combining peer-reviewed articles with practical user-guides, reports and commentaries, the Journal welcomes submissions from all areas of the life sciences that use, develop and implement bioinformatics tools and techniques (for more information, see About and Focus and Scope). The Journal is the successor of EMBnet.news magazine, published by EMBnet between 1994 and 2009.

The EMBnet.journal is currently indexed in many major databases, including Google Scholar and partial indexing in PMC and PubMed. The 2-year impact factor of the PubMed indexed part of the EMBnet.journal has been calculated to be 1.71
